Bent Penis During Sex, Got Bladder Infection, Burning, Frequent Urination. Is Urethra Damaged ?

My husband bent his penis during sex. There was no popping sound or bruising . About five days later he said he had a bladder infection . He had burning , frequent urination with not much coming out and a constant feeling like he had to urinate. He saw his dr who told him he must have sprained his penis during sex and gave him Pyridium and a referral to a urologist . He went and all he did was give him a different med called Uribel. He told him to take them for a month and if he wasnt any better they would scope him. The medicine does help with the pain but the frequecy feeling is still there and is so annoying. He has been on it for 4 days. The dr told him there was no bladder infection and he couldnt really feel any damage to his penis. Could the test for infection be wrong because of the pyridium? Do you think the urethra is damaged?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your husband got his penis twisted during intercourse.and has urinary symptoms.
It is most unlikely to get urethra injured without any injury to Corpora Cavernosa.
It may be a coincidence that he has UTI.Get his routine Urine test done to confirm UTi and take some antibiotics as per advice of your family physician for a week,It should get cured.
If problem persists even after a week consult qualified Urologist for endoscopic examination of urethral passage and Bladder.
