Belly Button Infection, Pimples In Belly Button, Hair Growing Inside. Treatment?

Hi Doctor, I have an infection in my belly button for more than one year. It partly heals with medecine and come again. Recently a pimple was formed in the belly button. It is sensitive to the tough. But I think the real problem is deep inside the belly button. There are also lots of hairs inside the belly button which I found when rolling a small tissue paper inside the belly button. Kindly advise mi Doc.

Hi,

It seems that you are having chronic omphalitis.

The skin of umbilicus becomes infected.

In your case it occurs of and on.

Your blood should be tested for DM,HIV or any immunocompromised conditions.

Pus from umbilicus may be tested for bacteria and its culture and sensitivity test.

And accordingly , antibiotic may be taken.

Anti inflammatory drug is also taken.

Immunobusters may be taken to improve the immunity.

However, you consult dermatologist.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
