Being Menopausal, Why Do I Have Pain In Vagina And Left Breast?

This is embarrassing but I suffer from constant sharp stabbing pain inside my vagina and left breast I am 53 yrs.old menopauseal about 6-7 yrs now and have. Had 5 normal vaginal deliveries when giving birth ;why is this pain so unusual I ve also experienced smelly foul discharges

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on clinical history and symptoms, I can comment as follows:
1. Foul smelling vaginal discharge with pain appears to be due to infection. You need to get a pap smear test done and get the infection treated. The present pain is not related to deliveries and is due to infection. Prolapse of uterus also might be associated, especially with additional back pain.

2. Left breast pain could be due to trauma or other causes. Palpate the breast and feel for any masses. If you feel any , meet your doctor to rule out any cancers.
