Hi,

Most common of snoring is obstruction in nasal passageway. As your problem is acute, Prescribed medicines by your treating doctor will be helpful. Almost all treatments for snoring revolve around clearing the blockage in the breathing passage. You are advised to continue medication for the prescribed time and see the result. There are very minimal chances of side effect if taken for 10 days.

After the course of medicine if problem persists, investigations should be done to rule out the actual cause. Try to loose weight and stop smoking, if any, to prevent its recurrence.

Regards
