I was a balanoposthitis patient about one year ago. My semen culture reports indicated the presence of Proteus Vulgaris bacteria. Since then, I have met many urologists and they have given me many dozes of oral antibiotics (like Augmentin, Linezolid, etc). Earlier, the infection was only at the glans of the penis, but it has now spread to the internal parts of my reproductive system. My testicles hurt a lot, and so does the abdominal region near the pelvic bone. Recently, a urologist asked me to get a doppler scrotal ultrasound scan, and that detected a 5mm cyst in my right testicle. I was made to do a semen culture test again, and the presence of klebsiella pneumoniae was shown in the report. The urologist made me take the intra venous injection of amkin antibiotics.
All the urologists that I meet just say that it is not a major infection. But none of these urologists have a proper solution to my problem! My semen is a little extra sticky and not as liquidy as it should be. Please help me out!
