Bad Seasonal Allergies, Increased Fatigue, Sore Throat, Ear Popping On Swallowing, Feeling Of Lymph Nodes Under Chin. Treatment Required?
Hello thank you for your time, I have bad seasonal alergies and this year I feel tired a lot and feel as if I am getting a sore throat and my ears pop when I swallow , I also have what feels like two marble sized lymph nodes under my chin .I am wondering is this something that needs to be checked out urgently or will it pass.
hello kevin4130,as you have mentioned it could be a seasonal allergy which is causing the sore throat and the stuffiness in your ears. Taking antihistaminics should relieve you of these symptoms. The lymph nodes could be just non-specific and can be ignored for a while. They may disappear as your symptoms improve. If it does not subside with the symptoms then you may need to get an FNAC or fine needle aspiration cytology done for the same which will guide you to the cause of the enlargement and then it can be treated accordingly. IN the mean while you can use some paracetamol for symptomatic relief.take care
