Bad Headache After Falling On Back. Reason?

I fell on Saturday on my Back and since then I have had a really bad head ache that I can not get rid of! I did not hit my head, but when I fell my head did hurt, but cleared a few minutes afterwards. I was a few hours later that my head started to ache and I felt sick. The sickness cleared, but I still have a really bad head.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for posting this question in HCM

I am a neurologist responding to you

Let me tell you that any medical symptom can be related to various causes and this applies to headache. Headache can be due to various causes and it can be due to brain tumor, infection, head injury, migraine, cluster headache, low or high pressure in the brain and so on. Further presence or absence of accompanying symptoms with headache can help us narrow down the possibility. It is important to know about the presence of vomiting, loss of consciousness, bleeding from nose ear, weakness of legs, hands etc. I have noted your problem and you will benefit with the following approach

1. In the absence of other complaints, as discussed above, you can observe yourself and take simple analgesics like paracetamol. If the headache persists for more than 2-3 days visit a local neurologist

2. You may opt for immediate neurological evaluation and CT scan of brain to make sure that there is nothing wrong and follow the advice of local neurologist

Hope this will help you
