Bad Breath Due To COPD. How Can I Overcome It?

I m told that my problem with bad breath is caused by my condition of COPD . Is there any way to overcome the bad breath. I cough a lot and when I do, there is usually a flehm that comes up into my mouth and the flehm has a bad odor which I spit out. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the cough, flehm and bad breath? Thank You Bill Joyce

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

As you have mentioned you have bad breath due to COPD i would suggest you to consult the Physician and discuss the problem.
Visit the Dentist and go for professional scaling and polishing.
Use chlorhexidine mouthwash gargles twice daily.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.
Brush your teeth twice daily, clean the tongue gently with the help of tongue cleaner.
Take multivitamin tablets.
Drink plenty of fluids and keep yourself hydrated.

Hope this helps out.
