Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain in the left side of the back can be related to a muscular pain or a renal pain due to infection or a calculus. An ultrasound scan or an MRI of the area will help in the proper diagnosis. Do consult a physician for a physical examination.
