Back, Leg And Knee Pain And Swelling. Had Uterus Removed. Using Ayurvedic Treatment. What Else Can Be Done?
My mother is 63 years old . She has arthritis . Pain in both her legs, backache , swelling in both her knees and ankles. She had uterus removal 3 years before. She had thyroid but now after medication its now normal. For this pains she intake sahacharadi kashayam.She also applies sahacharadi thailam and narayana thailam externally. But still there is no improvement .Now what should be done. Is there anything to worry.

After going through history of your mother, she is suffering from Polyarthritis she needs to consult Internal medicine specialist or Rheumatologist and usually causes are Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis or some kind of connective tissue disorder.
She also had Thyroid issues which could be autoimmune in origin so a good work up is required treatment depends on exact diagnosis.
If severe osteoarthritis is there apart from medical treatment total knee replacement can really help to get over pain.
If other type of arthritis is there there are good treatment available so please take care and do not ignore her health.
I can not comment about ayurvedic treatment.
