Baby Swallowed Xanax. What Signs Should I Look For?

My 7 month old baby swallowed one of my 1MG of Xanax . I think I caught it in time. It was dissolving and I stuck her mouth under the sink and rinsed along with doing finger sweeps along the sides of her mouth and the roof of her mouth. What signs should I be looking for???????? How dangerous is this situation? Please respond!- Scared Mommy

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic!
Xanax has got sedative action.
Since you tried to remove it on time , lets assume she had not completely swallowed it.
in case that she had swallowed it, look for the signs of drowsiness.
You can also call poison center at - 1-800-222-1222 and discuss with them about what to do next.
I find this answer helpful
