Baby Having Watery Green Stool With White Specks. Possibility Of Digestion Problem Due To Formula Milk?

My son is 7 months old and has been 100% on breastmilk . Yesterday we gave him half breastmilk and half formula (Similac Advance). This morning he pooped, it was watery green along with green and white specks of poop. He also turned red and cried while trying to poop. Is this because of giving him formula for the first time and how he digested it?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum,
Yes it can happen in some children when you start weaning them. Need not worry, Children will get used to it. Start giving foods in a more liquidy manner initially and then change to more thicker foods over a week or 2.
Hope your child gets well soon.
