Have you gained any weight? Did you eat a big meal right before you had your bp taken? A physician told my husband that in order to get an accurate reading, a person needs to be relaxed for about 10 minutes. If you were rushing around before it was taken that could affect it too. I wouldn't worry too much unless it occurs often, but the top number is still good. The bottom number is marginal.
