Arm injury, bruised, pain on raising, extending arm, on picking up things. How to heal my arm ?

About 4 weeks ago, I fell and landed on my right upper arm . It hurt at the time but I didn t think much about it and figured I just bruised it. Now my upper arm hurts when I raise it or when I reach with it. I also seem to have lost strength in my arm. I have a hard time handing things to someone with that arm. Any ideas what I might have done to my arm?
