Are Weight Loss, Breathlessness And Smelly Urine Causes For Concern For An Anemic?

hi Ive had a weight loss of about 15lbs in the past 3 weeks. shortness of breathe and my urine has an extremely bad odor and color although doesnt burn while urination. I am normally anemic, so Im wondering if it dropped way past the safe zone that it may have effected my body in a bad way.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Though there is no pain when you are passing urine it would be best to rule out infection since there is an odor present.

The rapid weight loss needs to be investigated and would definitely be linked to the shortness of breath.
Unintentional weight loss always needs assessment by history of all symptoms, physical examination and bloods.

A complete blood count would be needed to determine if there is any worsening of the anemia, any evidence of infection or other blood borne conditions.

Additional tests may be needed depending on the history and examination findings eg imaging by ultrasound or Ct may be needed.

I hope this helps
