Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can a ct scan cause nosebleeds? I had a ct scan about a week ago for pain in my lower right groin/abdominal area. Wednesday night I was showering when the first nose bleed hit me which didn t last long once I snorted back and spit out the blood clot. Today (Saturday) I had yet another nose bleed that also stopped when the blood clot was removed but this one was a bit harder to move. I haven t had any impacts to my nose recently so I m just lost as to why I ve had two nose bleeds in three/four days.
Ct scan is not related with nosebleeds . Please get your blood pressure checked. Most of the time nose bleeds occur without any cause and are totally harmless.so you need not to worry
