Are There Pregnancy Chances Even After Negative HPT?

periods normal every 28days, had blood test done to see if i could still conceive about 8months ago and everything was fine,now i am 1week late,took hpt when i was 4days late but was negative!could i still be pregnant i am 44years old and in good health.

I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.
As per details your overdue with your cycle by 1 week only.
I would advise you to wait for 7-10 days if you do not get your periods then go for pregnancy test it gives result after 1-2 weeks of overdue mostly.

Even then if you are really concern about your pregnancy then go for Serum Beta HCG Test it is confirmatory for pregnancy and give results within few days of conception or you can go for Pelvic ultrasound to rule out pregnancy.
