Are There Increased Episodes Of Hot Flashes After Hysterectomy?

My TAH is scheduled for Dec 5th. I am 58 and my doc said my ovaries are producing none to barely little hormones. From what my doc said, the majority of the uterus will be removed as well as both ovaries. I have had very little hot flashes. Can I expect major hot flashes after the hysterectomy? What at natural hormone treatment? My pre-op is in a week.

Hello ma'am
i appreciate your concern
there are more chances of hot flushes due to deficiency of hormones and you may require a hormone replacement therapy with all necessary precautions to prevent osteoporosis

I would like to know why are going for hysterectomy
if you can upload me a complete medical history I will be able to guide you better

You should have multivitamin and calcium supplements
hope this addresses your question
wishing you good healthy and speedy recovery
