Are There Any Specific Diet To Heal Osteoarthritis In Hands?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands. Are there foods that I should avoid, or include, in my diet that might help decrease the pain and disfigurement? Also, is there a glucosamine chondroitin product that has NO SHELLFISH that might help with my problem? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Osteoarthritis is an age related degenerative condition.
It occurs due to wearing off of the joint surfaces.
No food is effective in reversing the wear and tear.
Pain can be controlled by physiotherapy and pain killers.
Glucosamine chondroitin has role in slowing the degenerative process.
However, glucosamine chondroitin is derived from animal sources only and no plant source is available for it.

Thanks and take care
