Hi,

Welcome to healthcare magic forum!

During periods Food that you have can counter muscle pain, blood loss and water retention,so, you need to follow a different diet during your periods.

You need to avoid Caffein, sugars which are present in cakes, pastries and ice creams, or carbonated drinks, high salty foods or any fast processed foods, because all these cause water retention and slower metabolic rate and will make you feel sluggish and create mood swings

Instead you should have, fresh fruits, lots of water, peanuts, pinepapple juice, milk, chicken curry not fry, oatmeal, wholegrain breads.

Wishing you good health!
