Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Rabeprazole?

My husband has been taking rabeprazole for the last four days, last night he started throwing up every couple of hours from 9 pm till 1pm today. He has body aches, slight fever and chills. It wasn t anything he has eaten because we both have ate the same things. Could this be a reaction to the rabeprazole ? Or would a reaction take longer or quicker than four days?

Welcome to HCM!
Thanks for posting this question on HCM!
I appreciate your concern your beloved one.
Apparently he has developed side effects of Rabeprazole which are seen only in small number of people. Assuming that he is taking rabeprazole for acidity related problems, you are advised to see your doctor for the possibility of switching over to better drug with equal efficacy.
Best regards!
