Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Lisinopril For High BP?

Hi--I've been taking Lisiopril for high blood pressure for only a year or so. I have lost about 30 lbs in 3 1/2 months. I think that my blood pressure may have gone back to normal. Will taking lisiopril cause any side affects if you take it with normal blood pressure. I was supposed to go to the doctor today, but suddenly got very sick with racing feeling in my heart beat. I was just wondering if the medicine may be playing a roll in this. Thanks

Hi
thanks for writing to HCM.

you need to monitor your BP regularly. Once the BP is controlled with the prescribed medicines you need to continue that because as you have been on Medicine that is why your BP came under control. However you need to monitor you BP on a fixed interval and see your doctor for any need for alteration.
