Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello.

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. Montek LC is usually considered safe for long term use if you are not experiencing side effects. Common side effects are sedation, drowsiness, impaired concentration (due to Levocetirizine component) and nausea, headache, gastric upset (due to Montelukast component).

2. Were I treating you, I would suggest you allergy testing which will help you identify the substances causing symptoms to you, especially I would first think of house dust mite allergies and allergies to common indoor molds.

Based on the report, an Allergist-Immunologist would suggest you measures to avoid their exposure as well as allergen specific immunotherapy which works on immune system to gradually improve your allergy symptoms.

3. I would also suggest to avoid exposure to dusts, smokes and air pollution.

4. Regular breathing exercises and healthy diet will help you in a long run to improve your lung capacity and immunity respectively.

5. For alternative medicine, I would suggest you consult an Ayurveda consultant who may suggest you nutrition and life style changes, herbal remedies and procedures like Nasya.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health.

Thank you & Regards.
