Are The Ears Blocked?

Hi, today when I woke up all the voices I hear sound robotic-like. When I talk it sounds like there is a bucket over my head. I had a sinus infection last week. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Are my ears blocked? I listen to loud music on my ipod.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having problem of hearing your voice loud. This is because of blockage of the eustachian tube which connects ear to the nadoohaynx. The patency of this tube is necessary for proper hearing the closure can leaf to symptoms as mentioned by you.
This occurs following sinusitis or cold. Since you had sinusitis, it is the cause in your case.
This can be relieved by the use of drcongestant nasal drops along with treatment of sinusitis.
