Are The Blood Results Normal?

I am 27 years old. I am 5'5'' and weigh 130 lbs. I exercise regularly, eat relatively healthy and am a non-smoker. I don't have any medical issues and am not taking any medication, besides Yaz for birth control. I also take a number of vitamins, including a multi-vitamin, fish oil, folic acid, and calcium. I recently went to the doctor for a first appointment and had my blood and urine tested. I got the results back today, but am unsure how to interpret the results, besides the few that say "high" and "low". Those that are concerning to me are my neutrophil, which is low at 44, lymphocyte, which is high at 41, BUN, which is low at 5, AST, which is high at 59, and my cholesterol, which is an astounding 253. What do these numbers mean?

Hi welcome to HCM.
These lab abnormalities in your case are non specific and you need to be concerned but not too much. These largely point to abnormalities in lipid metabolism which is reflected as elevated cholesterol and AST.This pattern is most likely related to underlying use of oral birth control pill Yaz.OCpills are steroidal in nature and are known for their side effects on blood counts and liver metabolism.I strongly recommend you to stop these pills and try for a suitable ,relatively more safer options like IUCD's in consultation with your gynecologist. These abnormalities are reversible with drug cessation.
Thank you
