Are The After Effects Of Consuming Harpic Curable?
My friend consumed harpic and he was teated in the hospital. They washed his stomach. He cannot now eat or drink and is sufferring burning sensation internally. What can be the after effects of this? Is this curable? Will there be infections or life long disorders?

Hi,
Harpic contains Hydrochloric acid, which is comparitively less harmful. It takes some time for him to get normal. Having proton pump inhibitors, and Gelusil syrup can relieve his problem to certain extent. Other wise he should be normal in few weeks time.
