Are Taking Nidagen And Ecosprin Recommended During Pregnancy?

hello S/Madam
I was the case of miss carriage in the month of feb 2011 and i got married in nov 2010 now,
i am 4 week pregnant and i have was consulted with doctor he recommended me gyanecology (F + ETS) and nidagen - 200 and Ecosprin -75 are all good to take and what ur goodself suggest me further

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you are having previous history of miscarriage, your doctor might have recommend these drugs as preventive measures for abortion.
Nidagen contains progesterone.
It helps in preventing premature uterine action and in continuation of pregnancy.
Ecosprin helps in preventing miscarriage due to coagulative problems.
These drugs may not have major effects on baby as per the literature available.
So, you can continue them as advised by your doctor.
Along with them taking regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations are needed.
You have to take folic acid supplementation also.
