hello doctor i am 4th month pregnant and suddenly i am bleeding i was so worried went to the doc they ultrasound but they said baby is fine they called me after 2weeks again for ultrasound but again i have little bleeding but brownish and pain alot down belly .... but i can feel baby movement sometime...so pls advise me is it normal or what?????
I think you are suffering from threatened abortion. Threatened abortion complicates about 15 % of all pregnancies and a handful of these pregnancies usually lead to term pregnancies.
However, though a few of such pregnancies would lead to incomplete or complete abortions which are not desired reason why the cause must be investigated thoroughly.
Ultrasound will do well in evaluating fetal well being and other test have to be considered in investigating the possible causes. Test such as complete blood count, urinalysis, CRP, Malaria test if in endemic area etc have to be considered.
