Are Soya Supplements Harmful For Person Suffering With Thyroid Disorder?

I am currently on thyroxine and have been trying to lose a dress size through good eating and exercise for two years but simply can t. I had heard some foods arent good for thyroid like soy. Is herbalife bad for people with thyroid problems if so would the herbalife soy shakes do damage and if so in what way? Thank you

Whether people who have hypothyroidism should avoid soy is a topic of debate and there is no established medical fact about it however soy has been thought to interfere with the body's ability to absorb the medication

it is better to take thyroid hormone replacement typically when you have an empty stomach. Generally, it's best to wait four hours after taking thyroid medication to consume any products that contain soy

finally i would strongly suggest you to consult with your Doctor about any food supplement you want to take during the treatment
