Are Skin Rashes A Side Effect Of Amoxicillin Drug?
I m taking amoxicillin. 875-125 mg tables 1 every 12 hrs. Experiencing mild reddening of face in cheeks, slight skin itching and slight difficulty breathing. please advise of your thoughts. are these possible side effects of taking amoxicillin?
As you have slight breathing difficulty also, it is an alarming sign and you need to immediately consult an Emergency room before the symptoms begin to worsen..
Also stop taking Amoxicillin for now and let the doctor advise you compatible antibiotics..
You can take anti-allergics like Benadryl for time being to reduce the severity of symptoms.. Apply Calamine lotion to soothe the skin and reduce itching..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
