Are Seeing And Hearing Imaginary People Symptoms Of Schizophrenia?

I think I'm schizophrenic. I see and hear things that my friends can't. I always feel like something or someone is watching me at all times. I speak in an unknown language sometimes, and I think I'm speaking english when I do this. My friends think I'm doing it on purpose. I something feel like I can move things with my mind. I hear voices in my head that aren't my own. I feel like I'm twitching when I'm not. I see and hear dead people... I know that sounds strange, but one time, when I was fishing with my sister late at night, I said, "there's a fish on the green pole." and then a minute later, there was. She asked me how I knew that was going to happen, and I told her the man behind me told me so. When I turned around to look at the man, it was a man in soldier uniforms, one leg cut off, and blood oozing from it. He was dead... I freaked out and my sister said there wasn't anything there. I see people standing in the middle of the road when we are driving, and no one else sees them. I feel like I'm not the only one in the bathroom when I'm in the shower. WHAT DO I DO!? I'm going crazy.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for the query; since when are you having these symptoms? Are you into use of drugs like marijuana, MDMA, Amphetamines, ecstasy? SECONDLY have you been recently into any traumatic incident like an accident, robbery, loot etc.? On face value, your symptoms do resemble Psychosis/Schizophrenia but for a definitive diagnosis & treatment (depending on cause & actual diagnosis) we can proceed further. For the moment, try to relax, contact your GP/Psychiatrist for an appointment & be honest during your assessment. If possible do take your family member or someone with whom you meet, live/socialize daily for better clarification
Hope this helps; good luck
