Hello I had unprotected sex with a girl I met at a club 2 and a half months ago. Like two weeks ago I have noticed a couple of red bumps on my penis head and recently the bumps look like its a rash and the rim of my head is turning purple. I dont know if the girl was clean or if this is some sort of std. Thanks for your help.
Due to unprotected sex, you might have got infection. Most probably it may be herpes progenitalis. It is a viral infection caused by herpes simplex virus type II. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Have blood tests like ELISA test for HIV, antibody tests for HSV, tests for syphilis...etc. There may candidal infection also..called candidal balanoposthitis. Clinically doctor might get real status of your disease.
He might give you antiviral like acyclovir in proper doses along with antifungal like itraconazole. Antibiotics may be given to you if he suspects secondary bacterial infection. Locally, he might suggests acyclovir cream and clotrimazole cream.
Genital hygiene should be improved by having Sitz bath in dettol mixed water tub.
Avoid unprotected sex to avoid STDs.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
