Hi, may I answer your healDr Azam Aslam Neurologist at Faisalabad Pakistan has advised to consult you for paliztive procedures like hemispherectomy or corpus callostotomy to reduce frequency of sesizures.
Muzzamal is a three old boy with delayed mile stones and intractable epilepsy. Not responding to most of the AEDs.
EEG report is As
induced sleep EEG study carried out
“ GENERALIZED EPILEPTIFORM ACTIVITY SUGGESTIVE OF MYOCLONIC”
“ RULE OUT SSPE”
“ PLEASE CORELATE WITH HISTORY”
the other report conclusion is :Runs of generalized spike wave complexes”
the MRI report says as
chronic ischaemic infarct with encephlomalcia changes through right temporal and parietal lobes.
Will you please be kind enough to suggest us for treatment by you sir.

Hi, surgery has a role in the treatment of resistant epilepsy but before that it should be defined by the neurologist that the diagnosis is correct and all medicines have been used .
Surgeries like hemispherectmy and corpus callosotomy have a definite role . Thanks
