Are Pimples On The Penile Shaft A Sign Of Sexually Transmitted Diseases?

I have two hard bumps on the shaft of my penis. They hurt when I press on them. I shave my penis so I tought that maybe they are ingrown hairs but I ve never had this before. Worried about possible STD? They almost resemble red pimples but they do not have a head on them. Thanks

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Skin lesions on penile shaft are more commonly seen with sexually transmitted infection (STI s).
So if you are sexually active and had unprotected Intercourse in recent past or you are having multiple sex partners then possibility of STIs is more.
Sometimes shaving can also lead to infections.
So consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of penile skin lesions and blood reports to rule out STI s.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
