Are Neuflo And Beathorophan Exlixir Correct Medication For Throat Problems?

hi! i have itchy throat and dry cough for a couple of days already and is taking neuflo and beathorphan exlixir as prescribed by my doctor since last night however i still can feel like something is blocking my throat though i don't have phlegm and i am still always coughing. Was the medicine prescribed to me correct?

Hello,
The medicines prescribed are correct but in addition you need to take antibiotics and anti histaminic and monteleukast.
If you have a dry cough and had it after a upper respiratory tract infection then there are more chances of it being allergic and causing the throat irritation .It could be allergic laryngo-tracheo-bronchitis.
If so you also might need to take a short course of oral steroids which would decrease the inflammation .
