Are Magnesium Pills Safe During Severe Constipation?

Hi, i'm 20 years old, female, and I was a bulimic. I was taking Milk of Magnesia, Green Tea diet teas, Fiber Con, Metamucil all at once at one point. Since then I have been struggling with my eating disorder. I've also used enemas twice to relieve severe constipation but It just seem to be getting worse. Recently I was talking with a friend and she recommended that I take some Herbalife products, so I did. I did the 21 day cleanser, and I also used their active fiber product. It seemed to be working but I haven't been able to purchase anymore of their products. I work at a fast paced restaurant and I have noticed that I feel naseous at times. I always feel bloated, I can't remember when was the last night that I wasn't. I do notice that at times I do not get a bowel movement for up to 4 days, so I eat All Bran Cereal which seems to help. I did see a nurse and she recommended that I take Magnesium pills whenever I felt constipated. I just think that i'm making things worse. What should I do?

Well come to HCM
Thank for asking,
I appreciate your concern, if you are just worried about the constipation then let me inform you that even if you do not pass the stool daily and passing it every alternate day then it is nothing to worry and it may not be constipation but, it is good not to be over conscious if not passing the stool and not even need to take any medicine instead of that have more fiber containing diet, drink more water, keep daily habit of going for defecation even in the absence of need of this no matter if you do not pass the stool, do not exert the force, do some exercise hope this information helps
