Are Lumps And Swelling Near Armpits Considered As Symptoms Of Breast Cancer?

thanks for this opportunities. pls i have many questions to ask.

firstly, can breat cancer cause swollen hand. that eventually kill the patient. the patient never felt any pain around the breast for one. it was lumps at the arm pit she notice and was removed. pls doctor im disturb, is it cancer that cause the swollen hand or what

Hello ,
Breast cancer may not cause pain in the breast . You said that you had a lump removed from the armpit , but you didnt tell the hystology of the lump . If a breast cancer has axyllary lymph node metastases it can cause swelling of the arm , but there are other causes for the swelling too . Removing of the armpit lump can be a couse for the swelling if there are damaged or ligated lymph vessels . If you were my patient i would suggest a physical examination of the breasts .
