Hi , I am having little flashes of light in the periphery of my vision. I am 56, very nearsighted. My vision is perfect at the moment. Should I call my optometrist in the morning, call an opthamologist in the morning, or go to the emergency room tonight?

refraction has to be done and near vision test to be repeated you can consult ophthal mologist need not go to emergency room can wait till morning. fundus examination is to be done and exclude hole tear or peripheral detachment.
