Are Itchy Knots Ring Worm.

Just the other day I found some knots under my little girls arm. She says that they're not painful but they're discolored and that they itch and they're hard too. Then today I found a ring worm like thing not far from where the knots are at. So could the infection that her system is fighting be the ringworm.

Ringworm as you probably know is a skin fungus. Unless she has got a bacterial infection from scratching the swelling may not be due to ring worm alone. Approach a dermatologist for a better guidance and treatment after a physical examination.
