Are Internal Hemorrhoids The Cause For Pain And Inflammation In Back?

Low back pain
...tailbone pain...chiropractor has done adjustments as in the past..but this time to no avail... Now, burning pain in the areas noted above..have internal hemorrhoids.
Could they be the cause? Started depositories and the severe pain has greatly subsided...

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain internal hemorrhoids can cause radiating pain in lower back and tail bone while pain in lower back can be due to causes like muscle sprain, herniated discs, nerve compression, osteoarthritis etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI Scan etc, while anoscopy or sigmoidoscopy for ruling out hemorrhoids can be advised and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, muscle relaxants, physiotherapy and back support brace in case of back related problem..
In case if it is due to Hemorrhoid steroid ointments, sitz bath that is sitting in warm water tub and taking laxatives and stool softeners along with avoiding spicy food can help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
