Are Intermittent, Stabbing Pain In Eyes Due To Spasm Of Muscles In Eye?

While recovering from a spinal cord injury (cord compression resulting in fusion from C3-7) irritated nerves that control muscles above the neck cause spasms all over my head. Can the muscles that control eye movement also spasm? I get intermittent, brief stabbing pains along the sides of my left eye.

No these nerves doesn't supply to eye muscles. Hence no action on eye movements. Your pain may be a variant of headache.
