Are Intermittent Heart Palpitations Normal?

Hello there. I am getting a strong heart beat and it happens on random moments. My heartbeat is around 98 bpm. Is this normal? I looked up and it said that they are heart palpitations. Is this correct? Please help. I m not worried, I m just intrigued just incase it can lead to a serious cause.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
For how long you are suffering from it? Any other associated problem? like diabetes or hypertension? Are you running fever?
You need to be examined by the physician before drawing any conclusion. There is need to get the ECG so that it can be assessed. As far as heart rate is concerned, normally it stays between 60 to 100.
Meet your physician
Meanwhile stay calm
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
