I have an abscessed & terminally infected root canal. Two operations (and 4.5 hours) later, the abscess has returned. Shall I just remove the tooth? Dentists seem to want to keep me as a project so they can make money, to hell w/ my health. Are infected root canals terminal infections?
Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the infection in the root tip is not the terminal infection. it can spread to involve the bone. consult a oral physician and take a radiograph to rule out a abscess or cyst or tumor. get it treated immediately. do not wait for long, if the infection spreads then it can lead to many complications. get the tooth treated with RCT or extraction. if cyst or tumor is there get it surgically removed. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
