Are Heart Palpitations And Shortness Of Breath Symptoms Of Coronary Artery Disease?

Hi I am a 43 year old female and have been having chest pain the last three days. Yesterday at one point I actually started having three consecutive heart palpitations in a row and was short of breath and dizzy. I am continuing to have the pain but the palpitations have not returned. Would this be considered signs of Corinary Artery disease?

Hello,

Thanks for asking a question at Healthcare magic

I will try my best to provide you with the relevant answer

Your symptoms can be due to various reasons.

Can be due to anxiety, anaemia, etc.

When this episode happens only once, it cannot be due to heart disease.

If the episode repeats get an echo done once to rule out any heart cause

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

Dr Chaithanya
