Are Heart Attack Risks Hereditary?

my dad had a heart attack at age 48, and so did my sister. They both smoked excessively for years. My mom had to have 2 stents at age 70. What are my risks? I have never smoked and I exercise 3 days a week. My blood pressure is good.
I am 5'8" 160 pounds.

Hi,
If your family members have heart attack is young age you have more risk of having cardiovascular disease that others without heredity.
But risks are not defined only with heredity, if you have heredity risks you should work on excluding others.
So let's see what we have. From other risk factors;
you don't smoke
you are not overweight
you exercise regularly
perfect
I would advise you to check serum cholesterol.
It is also risk factor, you should do your best to have low cholesterol level.

Take care
