Are Frequent Diarrhea Signs Of Stomach Flu?

I had a mojor yellowish green watery diareahh yesterday ....today consistency improved but it is black...I did take several pep to dismal servings but it is associated with abdominal pain that leasts for several minutes and then goes. I had a surgery for panceatidis die to gall stones 6 months ago...and since I am very sensitive with diarrea
Are these signs of common stomach flu ?

Hello,I had gone through your query and understand your embarrassing situation.

Brief answer: Yes ,frequent diarrhea is one of the signs of stomach flu or gastroenteritis.

Detailed answer: Diarrhea is a food and waterborne disease.You may have frequent diarrhea due to food habit.Since you have had surgery for gall stone (?Cholecystectomy),you may have problem with fatty food.

Abdominal pain during diarrhea is not uncommon due to increased intestinal motility.

Is your stool mixed with blood and or mucous?Do you have fever? If the answers are NO,then you need not to worry for now.If yes ,you need to contact with your physician as this condition requires prescribed medicine.

On the other hand, during you diarrhea continue drinking ORS( oral rehydration solution) after each loose motion.Stay conscious for any signs of dehydration like irritability,sunken eyes,thirst,skin pinch etc.
Hope that you will be okay with the ORS intake only with patience.
