Are Flu Like Symptoms After Having Unprotected Sex Due To HIV Infection?
Hi I had two unprotected sex with sex workers one in January 2014 and the other in may end of 2014. After the second incident I was panicked bcz I googled and found out that how I have put myself and my wife to a horrific risk .I am now suffering for a month with flu like feeling but no fever its 35.4 to 36.5 .I have lost 4 kg weight. I have swelling in my inner thigh which is not noticeable but my thighs rub against each other .also there is a pain which travels from upper thigh to back of my knee on my right leg only. I have had sstiffnecj following a strobing pain in the neck 4 days after the last risky encounter. I have ssoft stools once a day for last month.also I had dry mouth with white coating for a month also some roughness on the roof of my mouth.I am really scared that I have all the symptoms.

hi, you have low grade fever and loose consistency of stool. after a unprotected sex encounter it may be due to hiv or any be due to some other reason also. so one thing is sure you need hiv testing. go for antibody hiv1 and 2 with p24 antigen combo tests. it will clear all the doubts. but you are definitely at risk and need the testing
