I was diagnosed with IBS 5yrs ago,2days ago I finally had a gastroscopy and sigmoidoscopy, the results showed nothing in my bowel what so ever but I have duodenitis and gastritis,so does that mean I don t have IBS at all? Are you taking the piss you want £15 to answer me?
Hi and thank you for asking. IBS is related with functional problem of large bowel. It s not an organic issues. With regards to gastritis and duodenitis it is inflammation of gastric and duodenal mucosae. at the end you may have both gastritis and IBS. they are not related with each other. Dr.Klerida
