Are Dementia Symptoms In A Person Due To TIAs?

My wife is diagnosed with dementia Alzheimer s and has been prescribed quetiapine for over eight years, she has at my request had her dosage reduced from 1.5 tablets to none over a period of time and is now showing signs of improvement ie she is now returning to eating solid foods and is much more aware of her surroundings, she talks primarily to herself in the third party and laughs frequently indicating a degree of brain function not there while using quetiapine .Could thee dementia systems be a severe mental disorder brought on be several or more tia s

I really appreciate your concern, Dementia may not be sever kind of Disease but underlying patho-physiology is matter of concern in real sense TIA and Dementia are two different etiologies or changes Alzheimer could be genetically constituted while TIA is consequences, more over symptoms of Dementia varies from subject to subjects it could be mild to moderate and some time could be severe one of hypertension hope this information concerns.
