Hello there, thanks for writing in. Sorry to hear about your constipation. But as your doctor has reassured you, I assume that it is nothing to worry about. Do take medication as directed by your doctor and add lots of fruits, veggies and whole grains into your diet. It is very important to drink adequate amounts of water as no amount of fibre helps if your water consumption is too less to keep your stools soft.
Next thing, your IUD acts only on the inside of the uterus and it doesn't cause constipation in any way. It is not very clear what your concern is with regards to IUD and I be tried answering based on the available information. Hope this helps. Take care.
